Roberto Minervini

Wednesday, May 19 at 1pm (EST)

Join us in discussion with Italian director Roberto Minervini. Having swept the 2018 Venice IFF with a total of 5 awards for his latest film, What You Gonna Do when the World’s on Fire, the talented filmmaker will talk about his work with acclaimed critic and artistic director of Locarno Festival, Giona Nazzaro.

The live stream discussion with the director is presented to coincide with a special DAFilms screening of his work, which you’ll find in our curated programme Roberto Minervini: Gonna Dig a Hole to Put the Devil In.

Our live stream series, DAFilms Conversations, regularly presents exclusive interviews with directors who are shaking things up in the world of film. These discussions are your chance to get up close and personal with these inspiring filmmakers and ask them questions on whatever aspects of their work interest you the most. You can send your questions to us in a chat on the website or via comments on Facebook during the live stream itself.

Livestream Archive is powered by Doc Alliance, a creative partnership of 7 key European documentary film festivals. Our aim is to advance the documentary genre, support its diversity and promote quality creative documentary films.
