Celebrating the film work of Milo Rau, one of the world's most inspired and controversial theatre directors.

The first point in Milo Rau's manifesto for the production of theatre: “It’s not just about portraying the world anymore. It’s about changing it.” That's an apt summary of his pioneering work in film, which sits dazzlingly and uneasily at the border of live performance and cinema and which is now available in its entirety on our platform thanks to a collaboration with SWISS FILMS and NTGent.

A program of films produced during a workshop - A Film School in Mosul - organised by Milo Rau premiered this week at Film Festival Gent.
