Director and editor Marek Skrzecz is a graduate of Warsaw’s Academia Filmu i Telewizji (Film and Television Academy) and the author of productions which have won awards both in Poland and abroad. He has directed music videos, documentaries and television programmes and is the co-author of the Tajemnice początków Polski documentary series. Collaborating with GPAS Praga (the Praga North Educational and Social Activation Group), which works in Warsaw’s Praga North and Wola districts, he runs film workshops for troubled young people. His unconventional works balance on the borders of feature and documentary.
