Leandro Listorti
(Argentina)

Born and based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Film director, programmer and projectionist. He made a series of short films in Super 8 exhibited in festivals such as Edinburgh Film Festival and Ann Arbor among others. In 2010 he directed his first feature film Los Jóvenes Muertos, Best Film in Les Écrans Documentaires and exhibited in Viennale, Docs Lisboa, IDFA, Guadalajara, among other festivals. He served from 2005 to 2015, as a film programmer at the BAFICI Film Festival and was one of the founders of ARCA (Regional Amateur Film Archive). Since 2016 he has been in charge of the Film Archive at the Buenos Aires Film Museum. His second feature La película infinita (2018) was selected at Rotterdam Film Festival and that same year Petit Daguerre was awarded best short film at Mar del Plata Film Festival.. He was an artist in residence at the Living Archive (Arsenal) in Berlin. And since 2018 he has been part of MaravillaCine as an associate producer.
