Andres Rump

Andres Rump works as a filmmaker in Aachen (Germany) and Brussels. After graduating in architecture at the RWTH Aachen, he studied documentary camera at the FH Dortmund until 2010. The focus of his documentary work, are encounters/portraits of people who are chroniclers of social change: the last mountain farmers, fishermen at the edges of Europe, the work of clergymen in the focus of the Middle East, the global problem of the flight of children and young people from their respective homelands. The documentary descriptions and observations are arranged with carefully composed images and sound recordings.
