Originally established as a means to bridge the western-eastern gap in the European film industry, Trieste Film Festival continues to be the leading showcase of films from Central and Eastern Europe.
Every January, Trieste becomes a lively meeting point for film professionals from the CEE region, putting together the best of its fiction and documentary films. This curated program consisting of nonfiction works from recent TFF editions echoes the festival’s belief that the region’s filmmaking deserves attention year-round and shows that Trieste shines even in the summer.
