Childhood is an immensely valuable period in one’s life, but how to give it true meaning? The Hanuliaks, a couple from Slovakia, have decided to bring up their child according to Kamevéda, a complex approach to developing the child’s motor abilities and intellect. They have subordinated everything to their 4-year-old son Miško, in the hope that he will one day become both a top athlete and a perfect individual. Since his birth, his parents have blurred the difference between training and play, as even ordinary breakfast conversation becomes a mental exercise. Unique in its depth of focus, this reflection on child-rearing, shot with a light directorial touch, documents a year in Miško's life, where not a minute is wasted since there is no room for boredom and moments of rest are merely preparation for the next achievement.
