Devil’s Village shows the relationship between the residents of the small village of Cidões, in the north of Portugal, and the beliefs and traditions that the Cabra and Canhoto festivals represent to them. The film accompanies the figure of the Devil as the guiding thread of a secular narrative that recurs in popular festivals in the region of Trás-os-Montes in the interior north of Portugal.
