Nina De Vroome
(Belgium)

Nina de Vroome (*1989) is a documentary filmmaker. She graduated in 2013 from the KASK School of Arts in Ghent, with her film, Golven / Waves (2013, 31’). This film is a journey through the silence of a room and the hubbub of the city. Nina lives in Brussels, creates collages and video works, and is associated with Sabzian, an online platform for film culture.

Her first feature film Een idee van de zee / A Sea Change (2016, 61’) is developed with the support of the Flanders Audiovisual Fund (VAF) and premiered at Visions du Réel 2016.
