Natalia Cabral is a Dominican director, screenwriter and producer. She studied film at the International School of Film and TV of San Antonio de los Baños (EICTV), Cuba and later completed a Master's Degree in Literary Creation at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona. Together with filmmaker Oriol Estrada, she founded Faula Films with the aim of providing a platform for the production of independent cinema in the Dominican Republic. They have directed the films You and Me (2014), Site of Sites (2016), Miriam Lies (2018) and A Film About Couples (2021).

Their work has been screened at the Film Society of Lincoln Center, the Cinemateca of Bogotá, the Anthology Film Archives in NY, the Cineteca in Madrid and the Filmoteca de Cataluña. Their work has also been selected and awarded at important festivals such as Visions du Réel, Karlovy Vary, Locarno, IDFA, Biarritz, Huelva, Chicago, Cartagena, Gijón, among others.
