Jeroen Van Der Stock
(Belgium)

Jeroen Van der Stock (born in 1979) lives and works in Japan. He graduated in 2002 at the St.-Lukas Hogeschool Brussels (section Audiovisual Arts) with a retrospective installation of his works. During his studies he focused primarily on experimental travel documentaries and spent a lot of time abroad.

In 2008 Van der Stock made his debut feature documentary "Wild Beast", an intimate portrait of a Chinese film extra. In 2011 he shot his second documentary "Silent Visitors". It had its world premiere at the CPH: DOX festival in Copenhagen, Denmark.
