Alain De Halleux
(Belgium)

Alain de Halleux is an acclaimed Belgian director and photographer. De Halleux has won an array of prestigious awards including the Prix de la Qualité in France, Special Jury Prize of the Festival International de Bruxelles, and International Critics' Prize at Flanders. He received a degree in Chemical Sciences (Nuclear) at UCL. He holds INSAS qualification in film directing, and received the Belgian Vocational Prize for photography. His photojournalism has taken him from Afghanistan to Lebanon.
