Vibeke Bryld
(Denmark)

Vibeke Bryld is a Danish filmmaker and writer. She has a bacground in Comparative Literature, and Philosophy, and holds an MA in Screen Documentary from Goldsmiths College, University of London. She has directed several documentaries screened on DR2, Al Jazeera English, TVZulu, and TV3. In 2007 she directed, Throwing Paint Tins off the Roof, which was nominated for New Vision Award at CPH:DOX. Her latest documentary is Bedtime Stories from the Axis of Evil from 2011 was in competition at HotDocs, DokuFest, Nordisk Panorama, and won 1.st prize at Anuuru Aboro. She is currently working on a new documentary with Final Cut for Real. She was the sub-editor for DOX Magazine from 2009 and from February 2013 to September 2014, she was Editor in Chief.
