Veronika Lišková
(Czech Republic)

Veronika Lišková is a documentary filmmaker and director. She graduated from cultural studies at Charles University, and screenwriting and dramaturgy at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. Her feature debut Daniel's World was screened in the Panorama section at the Berlinale. In 2015 she won the Pavel Koutecký Award for her short film Tap Water. Her second feature film Visitors had its world premiere at the Locarno Film Festival and has screened at over 40 film festivals worldwide (Czech Competition Jury Award for the best Czech or co-produced film at One World IHRDFF 2023, Special Jury Mention at Jihlava IDFF 2022, The Best Film of One World IDFF Slovakia 2022).
In addition to her film projects, she works as a curator and script editor.
