Florence Aigner
(Belgium)

Florence Aigner is an audio photographer based in Brussels. With an academic background in Refugee Studies, her artistic practice focuses on issues related to memory, belonging and the material culture of people in exile. She has run participatory photography projects in refugee communities in Belgium and in Palestine, and workshops with adolescents in favelas and detention centres in Brazil and Bolivia. Aigner is a member of the collective of audiovisual artists ‘Polymorfilms’ involved in filmmaking and sound creations.
