Juliana Rojas
(Brazil)

Born in Campinas in 1981, she studied Film at the University of São Paulo. As a member of the Filmes do Caixote collective, a group of filmmakers who work in constant collaboration, she directed, in a partnership with Marco Dutra, the short films The White Sheet (2005) and A Stem (2007), both selected for the Cannes Film Festival. She also directed the shorts Dressed (2008), To Sleep Quietly (2012) and Doppelgänger (2013). Her first feature film Hard Labor (2011), co-directed with Marco Dutra, was selected for the Un Certain Regard section at Cannes.
