Sebastian Mez

Sebastian Mez was born 1982 in Essen, Germany. After graduating high school, he started an intership at Caspari Film for one year and then he worked as a freelancer. During this period, he directed several social spots and shorts. In 2007 he shot his first documentary DO THE RIGHT THING about capital punishment in Texas/USA, that premieres at the Max Ophüls Festival 2008. Since October 2007 Sebastian studies Directing at Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg in Ludwigsburg, Germany, where he also made REMEMBER HOW TO FLY (2009) and A LETTER FROM GERMANY (2011).
