Catalina Vergara
(Chile)

Catalina Vergara was born in 1981 in Concepción, Chile. She studied cinematography in Duoc UC and won various awards with shorts done in the institute. Her degree project was called "Mujeres del Silencio" (Silent Women) with which she won various prizes in national festivals. She took part in the jury in the festival "La 240" in Costa Rica. In addition to that she worked in important documentary projects for Chilean television. She is director and producer of "La Ultima Estación" (The Last Station). She is currently Producing "Ver y Escuchar" (To See and To Hear) by Jose Luis Torres Leiva.
