Stefan Weinert born in 1964, is a German actor, director, producer and stage designer.

He studied acting in Cologne and New York and worked for some years as a stage actor. When Weinert was 22 he had a starring in Tchaikovsky on the stage. After several successful theatre productions he decided to study at the Academy of Applied Arts in Vienna stage and film design.

In 1991 Weinert moved to Barcelona and worked as an art directioner and stage designer among other things in opera houses such as the Vienna State Opera. In 1997 he moved back to Germany where most of his work as a film actor took place.

Stefan acted in films from 1996 and in 2000 began to direct and produce his own films.

Since 2001, Weinert has worked on many international movie productions, in which he worked with stars such as Patrick Swayze, Val Kilmer, Michael Duncan, Tim Toth, Mena Suvari, Piper Perabo, Catherine Deneuve, Tchéky Karyo.
