Andrej Horák
(Slovakia)

Slovak film director and screenwriter. He graduated from the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava, where he studied Film and TV Documentary Production. From 1986 until 1991 he worked as a film director and screenwriter and the Report Film Studios in Bratislava. In the 1990s, he worked in advertising, later he was a film director in the news coverage teams at the Slovak Television (he directed the publicist programs Steps, Intimate Zones, and also the program The World in Pictures, the daily prime-time news, and the news commentary show entitled 24 Hours around the World). He wrote several reportage and TV film productions, such as Life from Life Or, Something about Sex.
