Martin Sagadin
(Slovenia)

Martin Sagadin is a Slovenian Born, New Zealand based non-binary filmmaker and artist. In 2018 they finished a Masters in Fine Arts - with focus on directing and writing at the University of Canterbury and have also been teaching there.

Their feature-length diary film Oko Na Roki was selected in the 2018 New Zealand International Film Festival, and they released their debut drama film Spring Interlude in 2019. They have written and directed a number of films and music videos (for artists such as Aldous Harding, Marlon Williams and Tiny Ruins) and are currently working on pre-production on a new narrative feature - Maria, Take a Bow, co-written with Alayne Dick.
