Pedro Filipe Marques is an independent portuguese filmmaker with a background of music and chemistry, and a long working experience in film editing. Since 2011, his documentary films have been shown at festivals worldwide. Focusing on observational territories, he aims for intimate portraits of the “unseen" individuals whose social struggles and life philosophy is fundamental but somehow forgotten. In each of his works, we dive in pure anatomies of present places. On the other hand, in the theatre field, he did many collaborations in video creation and dramaturgy. His master’s degree is based on the Kinoteatro concept, a cine-doc form of filming theatre.
