Robert Haines
(United Kingdom)

Robert Haines was born in South Wales where he continues to reside. He has worked as a gravedigger, aircraft parts inspector and School Governor as well as a photographer, cameraman, journalist and writer for news and features.

He won several National Art Awards while he was young for his artwork and also a UK 8mm Award for his first film project at 14 titled Project M6 From Mars.

Robert is a graduate of Film from the University of Westminster. His documentary Astronauts, Vikings and Ghosts won ‘Best Documentary’ at the Newport International Film Festival and was screened at many more.

His Fine Art Photography has been exhibited both nationally and internationally. Robert has also written a book, ‘Once Upon A Time in Wales’ which was published in 2008.
