Nuria Ibáñez
(Spain)

Nuria Ibáñez was born in 1974 in Madrid, Spain. She has been living in Mexico for several years. She graduated from the Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica (CCC). She directed her first short fiction movie Sopa de pescado in 2006. In 2008 she receives the support from Jan Vrijman Fund to make her feature length documentary debut The Tightrope. She is writing her first feature film Zapatos de tacón, with the support of IMCINE and currently works as a television scriptwriter.
