Stéphane Mercurio

Stéphane Mercurio studied Law at Université Panthéon Sorbonne. She worked in the press and humanitarian field. She is also the former editor-in-chief of the monthly magazine La rue, distributed by homeless people. She directed numerous short films and documentaries for television. A Coté (Next Door), her multi-awarded first feature-length film, talks about prisons through the convicts families gathered in facilities whenever they come to visit their incarcerated relatives.
