Visa Koiso-Kanttila
(Finland)

Visa Koiso-Kanttila was born in Finland in 1970. He graduated from University of Art and Design Helsinki and he studied documentary film in The New School University and Film/ Video Art in New York in 2000 - 2001. He founded his own production company Guerilla Films Ltd in 1999. He is also a co-member of Elephant Films Ltd – The Finnish director’s group. Film works of Visa Koiso-Kanttila have been awarded on several film festivals. He directs and produces his films in co-operation with his wife and colleague Iiris Härmä.
