Teboho Edkins

Teboho Edkins was born in the USA in 1980. While he was growing up, he spent most of his time in Lethoso, but he has also lived in Germany, South Africa and France. He is currently living in Berlin. He studied Art in Cape Town before going on to do a 2-year post-graduate residency at Le Fresnoy Studio National des Arts Contemporains in Lille, France. He is currently completing his studies with a post-graduate degree in Film Direction and Film Production at the dffb Film Academy in Berlin. He is son of Don Edkins documentary filmmaker and producer who Among others stands as a producer behind multi-awarded documentary projects Steps for the Future and Why Democracy? Teboho contributed as a director to both of the projects.
