Dieter Fahrer

Dieter Fahrer was born in 1958 in Bern. In 1979-81 he studied at Bayerische Staatslehranstalt für Fotografie, Munich. In 1981 began work as a freelance photographer, various publications, installations and performances. In 1983 began work as recording and production manager, camera assistant, cinematographer on feature films and documentaries by Clemens Klopfenstein, Felix Tissi, Daniel Schmid, Matthias von Gunten, Nicolas Humbert & Werner Penzel and Bernhard Nick. 1988-96 Partner at Balzli & Cie in Nidau. Since 1997 manager at Balzli & Fahrer GmbH, film production in Berne.
