Anton Yaremchuk
(Ukraine)

Born in 1989, Anton Yaremchuk is an award-winning Ukranian cinematographer and director. His film THE PIT premiered in IDFA in 2016 and went on to win several awards. Deeply involved in documenting the Revolution of Dignity and the ongoing Russian-Ukrainian conflict, his work includes feature documentaries used in European Court proceedings. Following Russia's full-scale invasion in 2022, Anton co-founded Base UA. This grassroots organization assists civilians and supports the military across Ukraine. He oversees diverse initiatives ranging from medical aid to housing reconstruction and runs cultural projects for youth.
