Boubacar Sangaré is a filmmaker, author and director, and also a lawyer specialized in film and audiovisual law from Burkina Faso. As a lawyer, he holds a Master’s degree in business law from Thomas Sankara University (in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso), a Master’s degree in film and audiovisual law from Lyon 3 (France) and has been preparing since 2016 a doctorate in law on the principle of territoriality and the construction of a single French-speaking film and audiovisual market in the UEMOA region in Africa.
