Alice Diop

Alice Diop is a Senegalese-French writer and director from the suburbs of Paris. In 2022 she released her first narrative feature film, Saint Omer, based on the true story of a Senegalese woman who stood trial for infanticide in France. Diop has directed several acclaimed documentaries including We, Towards Tenderness, and Danton's Death.
