Oksana Moiseniuk
(Ukraine)

Oksana Moiseniuk, a director and producer, earned her master's degree in audiovisual journalism from Lviv National University and attended screenwriting and film courses in Kyiv. She has lived in the Czech Republic for over 15 years, where she worked as a journalist in print media and as a television editor.

She then established her own production company, which has been creating short programs and educational videos on Czech-Ukrainian relations since 2015.

Since 2018, she has primarily focused on directing and producing documentary films. Her feature documentary debut, 8th Day of the War, co-produced with Czech Television, was selected as the opening film for the Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival 2022 and competed in the Czech Joy section. It was featured at international festivals such as DOK.Munich 2023 and VERZIÓ Film Festival 2023, made the shortlist for the Czech Lion, and was nominated for the Pavel Koutecký Award.

Since 2018, she has been working on a feature-length time-lapse documentary Hrubá stavba (currently in post-production).
