Tijuana, 1997. His first film Los Fundadores won Silver Puma for Best Mexican Film at FICUNAM, Special Mention in the Premier Film Competition at FIDMarseille and the Youth Jury Prize (UPV/EHU) at ZINEBI. It also screened in Márgenes, Cámara Lúcida, and Black Canvas. His second feature “Agua Caliente” premiered at FICUNAM and FIDMarseille. His short film Callejones screened in Black Canvas and Bogoshorts. His third feature El Mirador was part of the In Transit / Work in Progress Competition at Mar del Plata, and premiered at FICUNAM. He participated in Berlinale Talents Guadalajara 2022 as a director and was the winner of the Cine Qua Non Lab Award for his project El fin de la infancia, currently in development. Recipient of Baja California’s Stimulus Program for the Creation and Artistic Development (PECDA), in the Young Creators Category 2023-2024 with the project Un techo sin cielo in Audiovisual and Alternative Media. In its seventh edition, the Eureka University Film Festival dedicated a retrospective to his work.
