Mori Tatsuya
(Japan)

Born in 1956 in Niigata, Japan. Graduated from Rikkyo University. Started acting in films directed by Kiyoshi Kurosawa and Sogo Ishii while at university. After joining a television production company, he started making documentaries. His TV documentaries includes Occupation: ESP and Broadcast-Prohibited Songs. He made two documentary films about Japanese cult: AUM Shinrikyo, titled A (1998) and A2 (2001). He is known for his work on FAKE followed Mamoru Samura-Kochi who was shaken by the ghostwriter scandal, and also on i -Documentary The Journalist (2019) in which he followed the real life of Tokyo Shimbun city news reporter Isoko Mochizuki who inspired the film "The Journalist".
