Francesca Canepa is a Peruvian director who strives to tell stories with a socially conscious message. El Silencio del Río is her second short film, premiered at the Berlinale 2020 and Longlisted at the Academy Awards 2021. After participating at the Talents BA 2021, she's working on her feature *La Otra Orilla, selected at the BR Lab, Cinequanon Lab and Winner of the Production National Fund 2022. Currently, she’s represented in Latin Ameria and Europe by the Production house Primo Content.
