Born in Chisinau, Moldova in 1980. Graduated in 2004 from the Chisinau Academy of Music, Theatre and Arts with a Master’s Degree in Film Directing. Makes his debut with the Documentary Vasile Mamaliga, evocating one of Moldova’s first decision makers on the world arena, the film receiving the Moldova Cinematographer’s Union Debut Prize in 2007. In 2010 he started his biggest project to date, the feature- length documentary film production The Soviet Garden’. Parmis Film Studio was established in 2009 by Dragosh Turea, and is one of the first independent film companies in Moldova , which specializes in making documentaries about human stories, culture, history and other social issues.
