WANG Ying
(Taiwan)

WANG Ying was born in 1940 in Hong Kong, and came to Taiwan with her family in 1952. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in law from the National Taiwan University. She then studied public communication and television in Seattle, before completing a Master's degree in Film Studies at Boston University. After returning to Taiwan in 1968, she began to work at the China Television Company (CTV), while writing film reviews and columns under the name 'Ying Ying' for several newspapers and magazines, such as the China Times and United Daily News.
