Vania Leturcq
(Belgium)

Born in 1983 in Namur, Belgium, Vania Leturcq completed a degree in film directing at the Institut des Arts de Diffusion (I.A.D.) from 2001 to 2004. After graduating she worked as an assistant on various belgian and french short and feature films. She then directed two documentaries as well as three short fiction films that won several awards and mentions at festivals. In 2014 she completed her first feature film, L'année prochaine. This one won the Silver Zenith at the Montreal World Film Festival and a special mention for the screenplay at the CinemaVenire Festival in Rome .
