Born in 1985, Elsa Brès is a filmmaker and artist. She lives and works in the Cévennes region of France. She is a graduate of Le Fresnoy - Studio national des arts contemporains and of the Paris-Belleville school of architecture where she taught architecture and landscape theory. Her films and installations focus on forces of resistance in contemporary landscapes. They have been shown in festivals and exhibitions, in France and around the world, such as FID Marseille, transmediale (Berlin), IndieLisboa, CRAC Occitanie, Palais de Tokyo, LOOP Barcelona (nominated for the LOOP discover award in 2017).
