Macià Florit Campins
(Spain)

Film director and editor born in 1990 in Menorca, Spain. He studied Humanities at Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona. Later, thanks to a DOCMA scholarship he took a MA in Documentary Film in Madrid. Based in Barcelona since 2015, he works as assistant director, camera and editor at Elsabeth produccions. As an Elsabeth partner, he has participated in the production of TV shows, music videos, documentary films and a fiction feature film, Ardara (2019), directed by Raimon Fransoy and Xavier Puig, in which he also appeared as main actor. In Menorca, he teaches film to teenagers in collaboration with the Menorca Film Festival and other local institutions. After directing four short films, in 2018 he received a Reynolds Foundation bursary to develop his first feature film, Pedra pàtria, which premiered at Doclisboa, Visions du Réel and La Inesperada in 2021.
