Draughtswoman, filmmaker and animation producer. She has got several awards, among others the Fontevraud Abbey Award in the Project Competition at the Festival Internacional de Cinema d’Animation d’Annecy, that gave her the Residency of Animation Scriptwriting at the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud (France, 2012). Her films has been awarded and screened in several film festivals, among others: Hiroshima International Animation Festival, AniFest-Czech Republic, Monstra-Lisbon Animated Film Festival, ALCINE-Alcalá de Henares Film Festival, Zinebi-International Fest of Documentary and Short Film of Bilbao and Acquedolci Independent Film Festival. Rosa Peris is PhD Doctor in Fine Arts (Polytechnic University of Valencia-UPV 2015). She focused her thesis in the expressivity of movement in animation. She did part of her PhD at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne (KHM), at Germany, where she studied animation with the artist Raimund Krumme (2012).
