Daniel Froidevaux

Daniel Froidevaux is a documentary filmmaker, and cinematographer whose work has been exhibited in galleries and festivals internationally. Froidevaux is particularly interested in how the aesthetic strategies of non-fiction cinema can be used to explore and critique ideas that constitute our understanding of the world and of ourselves. He believes that documentary cinema offers the possibility of unique modes of knowledge, communication, and interaction and he is committed to cinema as a space for contemplation. Froidevaux holds an MFA in Documentary Media from Ryerson University.
