Fermín Eloy Acosta
(Argentina)

Writer, screenwriter and filmmaker. He was born in Olavarría, Argentina. He studied filmmaking at the University of Buenos Aires and co-directed with Sol Bolloqui and Lucía Salas the short film Implantation (2011) that was screened at festivals such as the Toulouse Recontres Cinémas d'Amérique Latine (2012), the Latin American Film Festival of La Havana in Cuba (2012) and the 26th Mar del Plata International Festival. In 2016, he directed, also together with Sol Bolloqui and Lucía Salas, the feature film Implantation (2016) that was screened at the 18th BAFICI (Buenos Aires International Independent Film Festival) and at the IV Transcinema (Lima, Peru). He is currently working on his first solo documentary project: Museum of the Night (2021). In 2019 he published his first novel: Bajo lluvia, relámpago o trueno, winner of the jury award at the Bienal de Arte Joven of 2019 (Buenos Aires- Argentina).
