Nikolaj Dostal
(Russia)

Nikolai Dostal (1946) is a russian director, screenwriter and actor. He studied journalism from 1964 at the University of Moscow. In 1970 he started studying directing having worked for the Mosfilm Studios since 1964. His film Oblako-rai has received many prizes, among others the Silver Leopard in Locarno 1991 and a special Fipresci prize.
