Isabel Pagliai

Isabel PAGLIAI (1988, France) is a screenwriter, cinematographer and director whose films approach themes of childhood and language through a hybrid of documentary and narrative forms. She studied literature and art history at Université Denis-Diderot in Paris and graduated from Le Fresnoy, Studio National des Arts Contemporains. Her debut film, Isabella Morra, premiered at IDFA in 2015 and won many prizes worldwide, including Best International Short Film at the Montreal International Documentary Festival (RIDM). Pagliai currently lives and works in Paris.
