Shalva Gedevanishvili was born on February 23, 1897 in Tiflis, Russian Empire. Graduated from University Sorbonne (faculty of law). Since 1926 was working in Saqartvelos Sakhkinmretsvi Studios. He was a director and assistant director, known for Zvigenis kbili (1959), Keto da Kote (1948) and Arsena (1937). He died on January 21, 1990.
