CHANG Chao-tang
(Taiwan)

CHANG Chao-tang, born in 1943, is a renowned photographer whose work also includes documentary filmmaking and visual literacy education. From the 1970s to 1990s, he has made many seminal TV documentary series, including Newsreel Collages and Fragrant Treasure Island. His The Boat-Burning Festival is a classic work of Taiwanese poetic documentary. He is a recipient of the National Award for Arts and the National Cultural Award.
