Artistic Director of the Buenos Aires International Independent Film Festival (BAFICI) from 2008 to 2012.

He has been a judge in international competitions and festivals in Cannes, Gijón, Los Angeles, Cartagena, Montreal, Bogotá, Valdivia, Lima, Santiago de Chile and La Paz.

As a screenwriter, he wrote the feature films La felicidad (un dia de campo) and Zapada (Raúl Perrone, 1998 and 1999), Encarnación (Anahí Berneri, 2007), Extranjera (Inés de OIiveira Cézar, 2007) and Por tu culpa (It´s Your Fault, Anahí Berneri, 2009).

His films have participated in the international festivals of Viennale, Tribeca, Toulouse, San Pablo, Helsinski, Guadalajara, Paris, Montreal, Munich, Havana, Vancouver, BAFICI, Lisbon, Cartagena, Trieste, Lima, San Francisco, among others.

In television he is the author and host of the programs Nuevo Cine Argentino and Los oficios del cine (Canal de la Ciudad).
