Benjamin Serero
(France)

Even as a child, Benjamin Serero could not draw. He therefore turned to photography before developing an interest in cinema. A few years later, he trained in the Femis film school’s cinematography department and discovered documentary cinema. Since then, he has made films on various subjects. In 2019, he directed Esperança with Cécile Rousset and Jeanne Paturle. In addition, Benjamin Serero produces films: his own, those of his friends and those of his friends' friends.
