Asli Özarslan

Aslı Özarslan (*19.07.1986 in Berlin) studied Theatre and Media studies at University Bayreuth as well as Philosophy and Sociology at Université Sorbonne IV in Paris. She studied directing at Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. In 2015 she got the renowned scholarship of Visual Arts at The Academy of Arts Berlin, and in 2017 she was a scholarship holder of the Tarabya Cultural Academy in Istanbul, Turkey. Her documentary films "Island 36" and "Dil Leyla" won several awards internationally and nationally.
